The Nickelodeon Theater, Columbia’s only nonprofit theater and a beloved fixture in the local arts community, is excited to announce the launch of its annual Year-End Giving Campaign. Running from November 3 through December 31, 2024, this campaign invites the community to join in supporting the theater’s mission to provide diverse film programming, engaging community events, and an inclusive cultural space in the heart of Columbia.
This year’s campaign offers two impactful ways for supporters to contribute: through direct donations or by joining or renewing a Nick membership. Donations support everything from essential theater improvements to unique events such as their ReelTalk series, helping The Nick continue to offer a vibrant, accessible cultural experience. Memberships, which provide exclusive perks like free screenings, early access to events, and invitations to members-only gatherings, are an ideal way to stay connected to the theater while giving back to the arts.
“I can hardly believe this is my third end-of-year giving campaign since joining The Nick in 2022,” said Sumner Bender, Executive Director. “Each year, I’m inspired by our community’s incredible generosity, which enables us to bring impactful programming to Main Street and keep The Nick a welcoming space for everyone. We’re proud of the community we’ve built here, and every donation, membership, and visit makes each season more special than the last. Thank you for being the heart of what we do.”
