A Summer of Big Screen Magic: Announces 2024 Kids Summer Movies Series

Columbia, SC – The Nick announces its newest offering for 2024: the Kids Summer Movies series! From June to July, families are invited to visit Columbia’s beloved nonprofit movie theater for a nostalgic journey through the decades, with a lineup featuring beloved films from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s.

Starting June 11th, every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning at 10 a.m., The Nick will light up the big screen with laughter, magic, and memories for children and parents alike. With tickets priced at just $7, this summer extravaganza offers an affordable way for families to create unforgettable moments together.

The fun doesn’t stop there – The Nick is pleased to also offer a special concession deal during Summer Movie screenings, to include a $5 purchase of one small popcorn and a soft drink or juice.

The curated lineup includes classics like “Back To The Future,” “Matilda,” and “E.T. the ExtraTerrestrial,” as well as modern favorites such as “Dora and the Lost City of Gold” and “The Lego Movie.” However, parents are reminded that while every effort is made to select films suitable for children, individual parental discretion is advised for each movie. Since every family is unique, what may be suitable for one may not be appropriate for another. The Nick hopes its offerings throughout the summer will provide something for everyone to enjoy.

Tickets for The Nick’s Kids Summer Movies series are available now, offering families the perfect opportunity to plan their summer adventures. Don’t miss out on a summer of cinematic joy at The Nick!
