Co-written with longtime collaborator Roman Coppola, the film follows a mysterious tale of “a family and a family business,” unfolding across an international backdrop of secrets, schemes, and surreal situations.

Starring Benicio del Toro (in every shot, according to Anderson himself), alongside a dazzling ensemble cast including Michael Cera, Riz Ahmed, Tom Hanks, Scarlett Johansson, Bryan Cranston, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jeffrey Wright, and Mia Threapleton, this 35mm-crafted adventure was filmed at Germany’s historic Babelsberg Studios and scored by Anderson’s frequent musical partner, Alexandre Desplat.
