Oct 24

A biographical musical drama from writer-director Scott Cooper, adapted from Warren Zanes’ acclaimed book of the same name. Starring Jeremy Allen White as Bruce Springsteen, the film captures the conception of Springsteen’s haunting 1982 album Nebraska, created in the quiet of his New Jersey bedroom on a simple 4-track recorder. With supporting performances from Jeremy Strong, Paul Walter Hauser, Stephen Graham, Odessa Young, and more, the story explores a young Springsteen on the cusp of superstardom, reckoning with personal ghosts and the pressures of fame while crafting one of his most enduring and intimate works.

The film had its world premiere at the 52nd Telluride Film Festival in August 2025, where it was met with critical acclaim. Praised for its depth and authenticity, it currently holds a 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has been celebrated as a powerful portrait of the artist and the blue-collar struggles he immortalized in song.
