Sing Sing is a deeply moving prison drama that celebrates the transformative power of art and human connection. Directed by Greg Kwedar and co-produced with Clint Bentley, the film is inspired by the real-life Rehabilitation Through the Arts program at Sing Sing Maximum Security Prison. Featuring an incredible cast led by Colman Domingo and Paul Raci, the film also includes authentic performances by formerly incarcerated men who were alumni of the program, lending it a raw and poignant authenticity.

The story follows Divine G, an inmate wrongfully convicted of a crime, who discovers purpose and healing through a prison theater group. As the group works to stage an original production, the bonds they form and the emotional journeys they undertake highlight the resilience of the human spirit, even in the harshest conditions.

Sing Sing premiered at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival to critical acclaim and has since earned numerous accolades. It was named one of the top ten films of 2024 by the National Board of Review and the American Film Institute. The film received five nominations at the Critics’ Choice Awards, including Best Picture, and three nominations at the Independent Spirit Awards, including Best Feature.

Praised for its heartfelt storytelling and standout performances, Sing Sing is more than a film—it’s a testament to the power of second chances and the impact of creative rehabilitation.
