Through My Eyes – Come Around My Way
May 19, 2014
Come Around My Way: A Youth Media Project is our flagship after-school youth media program. Launched as a partnership with C.A. Johnson High School and Richland Library Teen Center in the fall of 2013, the program works with students on the production of short documentary films exploring the historical and contemporary issues facing their neighborhoods.
Ronnie & Roderick (Man 2 Man Productions) present a documentary that examines the notion that because someone might go to a certain school they automatically become subject to that school’s behavioral stereotypes. This film aims to show that not everyone acts or thinks the same in high school and showcases two friends that, although they live different lives, share the same passion about achieving their dreams and overcoming adversity.
