StegoSaur – Indie Camp Remixed

May 9, 2014

This year at 2014 Indie Grits, the HHMEC introduced our first high school filmmaker camp, Indie Camp Remixed! This program provided student filmmakers with the opportunity to meet professionals in the industry, channel their creativity, and be a part of the festival experience. Indie Camp paired students with 2014 Indie Grits filmmakers to watch and discuss films. Students then planned, shot, and edited their own versions of each film. Students collaborated in groups and gained valuable experience as part of a production crew. The films that they create were critiqued at the end of the day, and shown at the end of the week in a special screening for parents and friends.

StegoSaur was created by Jennifer, Mike, Jake, Angelo, & Daniel. It was inspired by Indie Grits Co-Director Seth Gadsden’s film Stegosaur. You can find more information about Stegosaur here –¬†
