In honor of National Recovery Month, The Nick is partnering with LRADAC to bring a screening of Amy, a documentary about the Grammy award winning artist Amy Winehouse, to the theater on September 28 at 7:00 p.m.

A representative from LRADAC’s prevention department will be on hand to discuss LRADAC’s recovery treatment plans, ways to help prevent substance misuse, and also offer guidance on substance misuse intervention. In addition, LRADAC will also offer free Narcan opioid overdose treatment units and offer other informational materials for friends and family members involved in the recovery process.

About the film: Archival footage and personal testimonials present an intimate portrait of the life and career of British singer/songwriter Amy Winehouse.
