Raw and unadorned, Whose Streets? is a documentary in the truest sense of the word; an actual moving document of events fresh in the country's memory, but never before laid as bare as they are here.

Directors: Sabaah Folayan and Damon Davis

Composed of footage culled from the news media, phones and produced by the filmmakers themselves, Whose Streets? is an unflinching look at the 2014 uprising in Ferguson, Missouri following the fatal shooting of Michael Brown by police officer Darren Wilson. Capturing resistance from the perspective of the people who live it, the film captures how the actions of parents, artists and teachers inspired a global movement.

After the film, there will be a conversation led by Simple Justice organizers Ty dePass, Mila Burgess-Conway and media maker, Sherard Duvall. Simple Justice is the Black Lives Matter chapter for Columbia and the SC Midlands.
