Scotty Smalls is the new kid in town and facing down a lonely summer. After an embarrassing attempt at playing baseball with the local boys, Benny “The Jet” Rodriguez shows him the ropes, launching Scotty into a summer full of friendship and adventure. Together, the boys from the sandlot hit the local pool, take on the snotty rival team, hold treehouse sleepovers, and formulate a plan to defeat their biggest foe: The Beast.
