The theme of this year’s student short film competition is “Tikkun Olam,” acts of kindness performed to perfect or repair the world. In the Academy Award winning Joe’s Violin , a 91-year-old Holocaust survivor’s violin donation changes a young girl’s life.

All middle school, high school, and college students in South Carolina are eligible to participate in the Columbia Jewish Film Festival Student Short Film Competition. Winners will receive cash prizes in each of the three divisions. For more information please email [email protected]
